Procedures
We offer a wide array of procedures to support your child's health from infancy through adolescence.

Frenotomies
Dr. Carter has over 10 years experience in working with breastfeeding moms as well as lip and tongue tie corrections. She now performs releases of both tongue and lip with the biolase laser. This is a simple procedure done in office as part of a comprehensive feeding evaluation with pre and post-procedure assessment.

Circumcisions
The AAP is in favor of this procedure being up to the discretion of parents. While the health benefits outweigh the risks, the benefits are not enough to recommend universal circumcision. In consultation with your healthcare provider you can decide if the procedure is right for you and your baby. This is done with local anesthetic, under 1 month of age and under 10 lbs.

Foreign Body Removal
Accidents happen, especially with curious little explorers. We offer a specialized foreign body removal service to help ease your child's discomfort and ensure their safety. Popcorn kernel in the ear? Tic Tac in the nose? Splinter in the finger? You can trust us to ensure your child's continued comfort and well-being.

Toenail Removal
(Wedge Resection)

Minor Wound Repair
(Suturing, Stapling, Dermabond)

Ear Piercing
Our toenail removal (medically referred to as wedge resection) service provides gentle and effective treatment for common toenail issues in young patients. With our years of experience and gentle approach, we're here to support your child's foot health every step of the way.
At our clinic, we understand that children are prone to minor accidents and injuries. That's why we offer expert minor wound repair procedures including stitches, staples, and Dermabond, to ensure your child receives prompt and effective care when they need it most.
Garden Pediatrics offers ear piercing specifically for infants and children. We understand the importance of safety, hygiene, gentleness and comfort when it comes to piercing your child's ears, which is why we provide a welcoming and child-friendly environment for this special occasion.

Incision & Drainage

Skin Tag Removal

Nasal Cauterization
If your child is experiencing symptoms of an abscess or localized infection, and an incision and drainage procedure is indicated, it may be performed in the office without having to go to the ER or Urgent Care.
Skin tags, though harmless, can cause discomfort or self-consciousness for children. We offer a gentle and effective skin tag removal procedure to help alleviate any discomfort and restore your child's confidence.
Nosebleeds can be alarming for both parents and their children. At Garden Pediatrics we offer nasal cauterization to effectively treat recurrent or severe nosebleeds in children, providing relief and peace of mind for families.
